Regulation Isn't the Outcome. It's the Doorway. — Erin J. Vandermore

Erin’s Story

Mind Circuit™

Where It Started

From Schools to Clinical Practice

From Schools to Clinical Practice

Mind Circuit™ began in classrooms, counseling offices, and the real-life moments Erin Vandermore witnessed throughout her work as a school counselor and trauma therapist.

From Schools to Clinical Practice

Erin spent nine years in Chicago Public Schools before moving to Asheville, North Carolina, where she built a private practice specializing in trauma therapy and EMDR.

Across both education and clinical settings, she saw the same challenge repeatedly — most support tools were too clinical, too slow, or too difficult to use during real moments of overwhelm.

Building Practical Support

From Schools to Clinical Practice

Building Practical Support

During COVID, former clients began reaching out for practical support outside traditional therapy sessions. Erin started writing grounded guidance around nervous system regulation, emotional recovery, and real-time resets.

Those writings eventually became books, podcasts, and the foundation for Mind Circuit™.

The Evolution

What first started as the Age of Uncertainty app later evolved into a structured regulation system designed specifically for students and educators.

Erin combined her trauma therapy background, EMDR experience, and years in school counseling to create Brain Flossing™ Micro-Resets™ — short classroom routines that help students return to learning after disruption.

Built Through Real Life

Erin founded Mind Circuit™ in 2018 and continued building through major personal challenges, including a complicated pregnancy, NICU recovery, Hurricane Helene displacement, and the launch of the Helene Therapy Network to support affected families.

Today, she continues leading every school pilot, implementation plan, speaking engagement, and product direction personally.
