Erin Vandermore LCMHC-S, The Calm Architect behind Mind Circuit™. Erin is a former educator who designs regulation-first infrastructure models that reduce escalation and protect instructional time in complex educational systems. Erin the visionary creator of a pioneering nervous system intervention system. This ecosystem is anchored by the Mind Circuit™ app, also referred to as the Ease App, and the proprietary Brain Flossing™ techniques. The Mind Circuit ecosystem which integrates the app, curriculum, book and toolkit translates cutting-edge neuroscience into practical, daily micro-resets using bilateral stimulation (BLS) to help users, including students and educators, shift from overwhelm to emotional regulation.

Erin’s work is uniquely informed by her own journey: she is a survivor of pre-eclampsia and Hurricane Helene, and she thrives while living with Dyslexia, ADHD, and Anxiety. These experiences fuel her profound empathy and her mission to create highly effective resources for all kinds of brains.

Her dedication to scaling mental wellness led her to create the Mind Circuit app Ease; a digital tool that blends art, sound design, and neuroscience for emotional regulation. Erin lives with her wife, two children, and three dogs in the mountains of Asheville, NC. When not working, you can find her cheering on the Chicago Cubs or deep diving into Shark Week.

“Regulation isn’t the outcome. It’s the doorway.” – Erin J Vandermore

Wired to Heal: An Educator’s Guide to the Brain and Trauma-Informed Resilience

Classrooms don’t just hold students.

They hold nervous systems.

Every day, educators are asked to teach standards, manage behaviors, support mental health, and somehow still go home with enough energy to be human. Traditional “classroom management” tools weren’t built for this reality—but neuroscience was.

Wired to Heal translates the science of the nervous system into simple, school-friendly practices you can use in real time: in your classroom, in the hallway, during transitions, and even on your way home from work.

Drawing from trauma-informed care, applied educational neuroscience, and social-emotional learning (SEL), this book shows you how to move beyond “what’s wrong with this student?” to “what is this nervous system trying to survive?”—and what to do next.
